The first edition of the TERRAE Film Festival, organized by Amici del Fondo Ranalli and the International Tour Film Fest, concluded with a success as expected.

On Friday, September 13, and Saturday, September 14, two prestigious evenings took place on the terrace of the Darsena Romana at the Port of Civitavecchia, specially set up for the occasion, where the first edition of the TERRAE Film Fest was held. The presidents of the promoting associations, Amici del Fondo Ranalli (Maria Grazia Verzani) and the International Tour Film Festival (Piero Pacchiarotti), along with the project creator, architect Daniele Oliva, greeted the numerous attendees. They emphasized the synergy between memory and the use of images, which allows for the transmission of stories, characters, and artifacts into the future, preserving their living and precious memories that might otherwise be lost over time.

The Councillor for Culture, Prof. Stefania Tinti, and the Councillor for Development and Tourism, Piero Alessi, brought greetings from the municipal administration, highlighting the importance of the Terrae Film Fest project, particularly in light of Civitavecchia’s decarbonization efforts.

The evenings were expertly hosted by Donatella Donati, art historian, presenter, and interviewer of the various guests. The stars of the events included archaeologist Flavio Enei, director of the “Museum of the Sea and Navigation of Santa Severa,” and the screenings of works by directors: Salvatore Rocchetti (I Ragazzi del Muretto), Francesco Angeloni (Family Pics), Franco Di Claudio (La Scaglia, Necropoli Etrusca), and Daniele Catini (Il Signorino della Cava), who were awarded commemorative plaques. Special mention was given to the contributions of Giuseppe Bellu and Gianfranco Fusato. Particularly moving was the performance by Agnese Monaldi, an innovator in the field of improvisation, who performed poetry in ottava and sestina. The location was further enhanced by an installation by artist Jan Incoronato. Also screened were *Omelia Contadina* by Alice Rohrwacher and JR, and *Una Processione Mistica* by Alessandro Toscano.

A special thanks goes to: the City of Civitavecchia, Fondazione Cariciv, the Port Authority, Salvatore Rocchetti for the footage, which will be available on our social media; Patrizia Manunza from the Dolce e Salato restaurant for the buffets, and Liberty pastry shop, local Coop Italia members, Conad La Scaglia, Rome Cruise Terminal, and Di Gennaro Eros flowers.
