UN MARE DI LIBRI

REGULATION

 

  • Art. 1 – The purpose of the competition is to enhance creativity and promote writing on the national territory. Participation is open to all authors and publishers in the Italian language. From an international point of view, works in other languages can also compete, provided they are accompanied by a translation into Italian. Works glorifying violence or racism are not admitted.

  • Art. 2 – The competition offers two sections:

A) NOVELS: THE JOURNEY BETWEEN PHYSICAL AND INTERIOR ITINERARIES
B) ESSAYS ON THE ARTS AND TECHNIQUES OF THE PERFORMANCE

  • Art. 3 – The competition is submitted by sending a work edited and published by publishers within the last five years.

  • Art. 4 – Each author is responsible for the content of the documents sent and must certify, under her responsibility, that they are of her own exclusive composition. The author of the work must complete and sign the application form, attached to these regulations. For minors under the age of 18, the application form must be signed by the parent.

  • Art. 5 – Among all the authors received, six finalists will be selected by the judging commission, three for each section. During the awards ceremony to be held on 8 October 2022, the finalist works will be presented, from which the two winners will result, one for each section. The results will be widely reported in all the information newspapers by the ITFF which will also take care of the promotion of the awarded texts on social networks and in the media. In addition, the finalist authors will be included in the Lazio library circuit.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

  • Art. 6 - Participation in the competition is subject to a contribution towards organizational expenses of 10 (ten) euros for each work in the competition. The payment of this fee must be made by bank transfer to the following IBAN: IT04M0306909606100000148185 in the name of Associazione Culturale Civitafilm indicating in the reason for payment "Literary competition Un Mare di Libri ITFF 2023"

  • Art. 7 - The duly dated and signed documents to be presented for registration are:

    • Application form including disclaimer and privacy authorization (attached) signed by the competitor and the minor's parent;

    • N. 2 Paper copies of the published book;

    • N. 1 Copy in digital form PDF format;

    • Copy of the payment receipt.

  • Art. 8 - Paper works with relative application must be sent to the following address: Prospettiva editrice sas Via G.Matteotti, 19 - 00053 Civitavecchia (RM). The PDF to the e-mail address: segreteria@prospettivaeditrice.it (with attached application) no later than 30 June 2023. The date on which the requested documentation was sent will prevail. The list of accepted works will be published on the website page www.internationaltourfilmfest.com.

  • Art. 9 - The works will not be returned and will become part of the Competition archive.

  • Art. 10 - The Jury's judgment is unquestionable and unappealable.

  • Art. 11 - Failure to comply with any of the indications contained in the regulation will result in exclusion from the Competition.
